Darkness Falls

Quiet dusk, in hiding sum,
dissolves the edge to black, and run
of grey and tattered line,
give way to night, leave day behind.
Corner shadows grow and meld
all light to grey, and so beheld
in timeless murk of question, real?
Dissolve my sitting space to feel,
and only feel where conscious calls,
where grey in echoed darkness falls…
