Mountain top in summer’s blue
atop this fold that lends a view
to sights that roll eternal…
twixt blossoms seen
that hold eternity vernal.
This is my heart amongst the folds
of granite pined and crystal cold
of streams that source from truth…
That here I stand
a simple man
and to my soul lend proof
that I am one within this,
that I am born of love,
that all my thoughts are kept here
and granted from above.

whenever I read your poetry I am always struck by your eloquence… and your rhyme schemes are always excellent… impressive…
Thank you sir. Your kinds words mean a lot to me. Never could quite find a home for this, but thanks to kind writers like you, I feel at home behind the pen, poised over the Moleskin. Thank you.
I had to come over and read this again, Its even more meaningful and more stunning with the photos. Glad I stopped by. 😀
Glad you stopped by too! Thanks for your kindness.
Thanks Noah – those are in and around the PIngree Park area of Northern Colorado. One of my favorite places. Hope to be going back for a camping trip there in about a week. More pics to come for sure.
